My name is Sarah. I was born and raised in Omaha, NE and earned my dental assisting certificate through Metro Community College in August, 2010. In November of that same year I then earned my national certification.
I chose to go into dental assisting because it's a great profession to help people and get to know the patients. I enjoy working at Dr. Strevey's office because every patient is treated like family. Patients are given the time and quality care that they deserve.
Outside of the office I enjoy exercising, bowling, reading and spending time with family and friends.
I am Debbie. I was born and raised on a farm in Conrad, Iowa, a progressive farming community located in the center of the state.
I graduated from Marshalltown Community College in dental assisting in 1978 and passed the national certification exam that same year. Over the past thirty years I have worked as a chair side assistant in family practices, an oral surgery assistant, and dental office management.
My family and I moved from Minneapolis to Omaha in 2005. As I began my job search here I was drawn to an advertisement placed by Dr. Strevey. It referred to his dental office as being a health driven, relationship based practice. After meeting and talking with Dr. Strevey I knew this was the office for me. I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Dr. Strevey and the team of professionals he has surrounded himself with. It is rewarding to be a part of such a sincerely caring practice. I am here to assist you with appointments, treatment plans, financing options, insurance, and billing.
My husband,Dennis, and I have been married for twenty-six years. Our grown children are Kent and Kate and we are blessed with one grandson-so far! In my spare time (is there such a thing?!) I love to be with family and friends, exercise, scrapbook and work outside.
I am Gina. I have my B.S. degree in dental hygiene from the University of Iowa. I graduated from the program in 1991 and have been practicing in private practices in Minneapolis and Omaha since that time. I became interested in dental hygiene after dental assisting in high school. I have always had a love for the sciences and the hygiene curriculum allowed me to fulfill this interest. After over 16 years in the profession, I continue to enjoy each day with patients. Every person has a different personality and every mouth has different dental needs. Each day is unique and interesting. My goal is give each patient the best possible hygiene care and instruction while they enjoy their dental experience.
I have been practicing with Dr. Strevey and his team for 3 years. I was attracted to the office because of the overall care they have for each person. The team approaches every decision and treatment planning as if they are dealing with a family member. It is a fun and rewarding environment to be a part of.
When I am not working, I am spending time with my husband, Mike, and my children, Connor and Lauren. Our family stays busy with baseball, softball, dance, and gymnastics. My family is very active and every day is a blessing and an adventure.
I am Sandy. I have been a Clinical Hygienist for 31 years. I
earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene at the
University of Nebraska in Lincoln. I have accrued advanced education
through the L.D. Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida in Advanced
Root Planing and through the University of Missouri-Kansas City School
of Dentistry in Local Anesthesia.
I was raised in Dannebrog, a small Danish community in
central Nebraska. Steve and I have been married for 30 years and have a
daughter Katie, Son-in-Law Ray and son Jim. We have lived in Omaha for
21 years.
I love swimming, exercising, playing bridge, going to movies
(favorites: Pay It Forward, Scent Of A Woman), traveling, and spending
time and having fun with my family.
I am fortunate to have been Dr. Strevey's Dental Hygienist
for 13 years. I love working with Dr. Strevey because we are a
relationship driven practice, and we are given enough time with our
patients to give quality care.
What I truly love most about my profession is helping a
patient conquer periodontal disease, coaching them to become proactive
about good homecare and maintaining a healthy oral cavity. I feel we
have a beautiful mission statement and I hope our patients believe that I
do live up to it and serve them well.
