We welcome new patients and believe that every new relationship is worth
the time it takes to develop trust and ease of

conversation. Therefore
we have designated one team member, Kathie Pieper, to welcome,
schedule, obtain records, review the health history, and document the
goals and concerns of each new patient. The initial conversation with
Kathie, might include questions about past dental experiences, hobbies,
music preferences, the dental health of your parents, and the
level of care you are seeking.
New patients, unless it is an emergency appointment, are
usually scheduled for exams with both Dr. Strevey and our hygienist on
the same day before any treatment is scheduled. These exams allow our
team to get to know you and allow us to become familiar with your mouth
and your specific needs and preferences. New patient appointments
usually include x-rays, a comprehensive exam with Dr. Strevey, and a
Dental Fitness exam with our hygienist. After we have determined the
health of your mouth, we can schedule any type of treatment that might
be suggested, the type and length of time required for a clinical
cleaning, and a better understanding of you as a person for future
appointments.
Our New Patient Registration form can be completed online as
soon as you make your appointment so that we can receive it prior to
your first appointment and obtain the necessary records to prepare
adequately for your first visit. To comply with HIPPA regulations and
protect your privacy, completed and signed health forms cannot be
returned by email but must be returned by fax, postal mail, or in
person. You may select an
adult health history form or one for
children under 14 years of age.
